About Me

Hi! I’m Amanda.

I work with women who are functioning — but exhausted.

Women who are capable, thoughtful, and self-aware, yet feel like their nervous system never truly settles. Rest doesn’t fully restore. Motivation comes and goes. The body stays braced, shut down, or overwhelmed even when life looks “fine” from the outside.

My work is not about quick fixes, forced breakthroughs, or pushing through.

It’s about regulation first.

I approach hypnotherapy as a paced, nervous-system–informed process, not an event. We slow things down enough for the body to feel safe, oriented, and supported before asking it to change.

My orientation to the work

Before moving into this field, I worked as a registered nurse. That background shaped how I work now — practically, ethically, and with respect for the body’s limits.

I don’t believe the nervous system can be rushed into healing.

I don’t promise transformation in a single session.

And I don’t ask people to relive or excavate experiences their system isn’t ready to touch.

Instead, the focus is on:

  • stabilization

  • regulation

  • and building capacity over time

When the nervous system settles, change follows more naturally.

I hope to help you!
