About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda.

I’m a registered nurse, hypnotherapist, and someone who understands what it feels like to live in a constant state of stress while still trying to hold everything together.

Before stepping into hypnotherapy full-time, I spent years working in healthcare and mental health settings. Nursing taught me how deeply stress, trauma, burnout, and survival patterns affect the body…. not just emotionally, but physically and neurologically. I saw so many people trying to “think” their way out of exhaustion while their nervous systems were still stuck in survival mode.

What eventually led me to hypnotherapy was also my own healing journey.

Like many people, I spent years functioning while overwhelmed. I know what it feels like to constantly carry pressure, responsibility, hypervigilance, and emotional exhaustion while still showing up for everyone else. What changed my life was realizing that healing was not about forcing myself to be more disciplined or positive. It was about teaching my body what safety felt like again.

That experience changed the way I view healing completely.

Today, my work combines my healthcare background with subconscious and nervous system-focused approaches that help people create lasting change without shame, force, or endless self-criticism.

My approach is calm, grounded, and practical. I believe healing should feel supportive — not performative. You do not have to relive every painful experience to move forward, and you do not have to stay trapped in patterns that no longer serve you simply because they once helped you survive.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unable to “turn off” survival mode even when life looks okay on paper.

Together, we work on helping the mind and body feel safe enough to create change.

Because real healing is not just about what you consciously know.

It’s about what your nervous system believes is safe.

You don’t have to force yourself into becoming someone new.
Sometimes healing is finally feeling safe enough to become yourself again.

If you feel called to this work, I’d love to support you.

Meet Huck!

Huckleberry (Huck) is my gentle giant and occasional co-facilitator. While he doesn’t participate in sessions directly, you may occasionally see him resting quietly in the background during virtual appointments. His calm presence has become a familiar and comforting part of the Inner Knowing Hypnosis experience.
